Example - Watch the sun come up

Example is an English artist grenre ranging between pop, electronic and dance he discribes his music as "Dysfunctional Electro-Pop" creating a different type of sound thats out there at the presant time. This perticular music video is not dissimular from any other music video out now in that genre, the use of cartoon drawings are used various times thorugh out the video which brings an individual element to the video.

The structure follows a linear narrative, using cartoon drawings to split the two locations of the video. one being in london and the other at the beach. The narrative and the lyrics relate as there a number of reference made linking the lyric and the clip e.g when the lyric "you in that red dress What a pairingI kept staring" is said you see Example sitting there staring at the girl in a red dress. These reference happen a number of times throughout the video. There is no disruption or equilibrium in this video.

There is a number of edting in this video, in the first 30 seconds there are 20 different edits most of them are visable but alot of them have been done very suttle. Theres alot of different things going on in the video but they all flow together and the two different sonarios fit in with eachother. In all i think that the video goes with the genre and song very well.
